A renovation of an existing Magic planet required RWA to create a more exciting and adventurous space than the previous design. With a small unit it was required to have a redemption counter /POS at the entrance, to avoid having a bulky furniture piece at the entrance, the side was curved to blend in the space and be more inviting, and even though it’s designed as one furniture piece, the POS space stands out from the redemption space by a 3D hexagonal wall .

The graphics, 3D elements and overall design approach was to follow 2.0 Mining for Magic theme and design standards set previously by existing units in other malls.
The shopfront is a futuristic, spaceship like design that incorporates design elements used in the unit like hexagons. Having a screen at the shopfront also engages the visitors and creates an attraction point for them.

There are two ceiling levels, that affects ride positions and zone design treatment, the ceiling therefor has different design treatment throughout, with “cloud elements” , floating in the central space, this creates variety in the space and animates it.
