The Technical Operation Centre shall have three distinct spaces (Gross Floor Area) and a staff car parking area area. 
• External Pavement - Includes existing area. (Approximation 50,000M 50,000M2 ) 
• Hangar – (15,000M,000M2) 
• Support Building – (7,07,000 M2) 
• Landside Staff Car Parking (500 vehicles) & Reception Facility 

The TOC is integral to the Etihad Airways long term growth plan, consolidates resources, supports new working practice, and maintain light aircraft maintenance capability. 
The facility will be a 24 hour occupied facility with a mix of industrial and office based staff staff. A clear span hangar provides full flexibility for planned service check maintenance and unplanned casualty maintena nce with support functions located within the TOC. 
Key measures for overall operational improvements are: 
• Two wide bodied aircraft and / or narrow bodied aircraft optimum capacity 
• One A380 aircraft and Narrow bodied aircraft  
• 100% workshop capability for all service check inputs 
• 98% inventory demands are satisfied
