The project includes full design of parallel runways to accommodate rotary and fixed wing tactical aircraft, associated taxiways and aprons and complete civil and electrical engineering systems. RWA was also tasked with the design and engineering of the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT), Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting facility (ARFF), Communications building, Base Operations Headquarters, Squadron Operations Center, Aircraft Maintenance Hangars, Power Check Pad, Engine Maintenance Facility, Munitions Bunkers, Ready Use Ammunition Storage, Engine Test Stand, Aircraft Sunshades, Central Chiller Plant, Central Utility Plant, Visiting Forces Housing, Staff Housing facilities, Stadium Facilities, Internal Road Network, external roads and infrastructure, perimeter fencing and gates.
