AL BATEEN AIRPORT – HELICOPTER HANGAR FOR POLICE AIR WING COMPLEX Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
This project included the construction of a new temporary hangar for the purpose of storing and maintaining eight helicopters and support facilities such as new foundations, structural members, roofing, architectural finishes, HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression, electrical, IT and communications networks. The project was executed on a design and build basis with pre-engineered building (PEB) solution based on 30% design documents. The major project elements provided by RW Armstrong included:
