DETAILS // RW Armstrong provided Concept Design for the 24,500 square meter model school intended for modular replication in sixteen locations in Abu Dhabi. This work included Kindergarten through High School classroom spaces as well as outdoor play and sports areas, children’s and adult pools, theatre spaces, cafeterias and offices.
SCHOOL AT AIN AL FAIDAH Al Ain, United Arab Emirates
The School is located in Ain Al Faidah development area in Al Ain City, accommodating Cycle 1 & indergarten for total of 1490 students (Cycle 1: 1250 + KG: 240 Students) with GFA of 18,910 m2 / 3,045 m2 plot area.
It consists of Two floors (G+1) with 50 + 10 classrooms, multipurpose hall, library, dining hall & external sport field facilitates & softscape with kids playing grounds.
The School is part of the Abu Dhabi Future School Program launched by Abu Dhabi Educational Council (ADEC) for the purpose of enhancing the educational infrastructure development and improving learning in various areas within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Schools are intended to provide additional support for fast-growing areas of Abu Dhabi. Completed structures are to comply with the requirements of regulating authority Abu Dhabi Education Council as well as the 2 Pearl requirements of Estidama Green Building guidelines.
