Stemming from the DOT objectives of a combined headquarters building for improved efficiency of all staff, with the ability to expand, RW Armstrong work to maximize efficiency, usability and practicality while maintaining a modern ‘state of the art’ cost-effective design.
General objectives of the project:
To provide a maximum number of efficient office spaces.
To use the maximum GFA obtainable with enough flexibility in the structure to allow continual reorganization of the space.
To create a practical, functional building.
To provide a sustainable Three Pearl headquarters with the ability to establish a workplace that is environmentally, socially and economically sound for today, as well as for future generations of users.
To provide a design to strengthen the relationship for users
A simple Modern design to meet functional and operational purposes: Efficient, safe, durable and easy to maintain.
Cost effective (constructability and life cycle)
A ‘state of the art’ office headquarters building, equipped with the latest technologies.
Compliant with standards and applicable codes
Mandatory objectives:
Design must accommodate 1890 employees with possible future expansion of 20% to 2270 people.
The Design must be such so as the construction phase of the project could be completed within 28 months.
