RW Armstrong provided lead design consultancy services for Canary Village II, a 53,979 sq.m. luxury residential community that provides expatriates with a high standard of accommodation.
The project consists of 110 contemporary villas of 2, 3, and 4 bedrooms, plus eight 1 bedroom apartments. The development comprises of apartments and villas ranging from 90 sq.m. to 280 sq.m., 4,300 sq.m. luxury clubhouse featuring coffee shop/restaurant, resort style pools, indoor sport court, bowling alley, salon, spa, fitness center, tennis court, children’s play and class facilities.
The team developed an effective detailed master plan concept including safe and secure access for vehicular / pedestrian sharing, additional emergency vehicle entry/exit, pedestrian pathways and interconnected amenities.
The master plan provides indirect lighting site design, ample outdoor shaded living spaces in front and back yard and is easy to maintain. The villas have a Mediterranean contemporary design, self-shading car parks, balconies, patios, and entry, low maintenance finishes, efficient shapes for pre-cast and functional interior space design.
